Popular YA Books That I Dislike

I'm pretty sure I've mentioned a handful of these books quite a few time in my other posts, but i don't think i've ever actually talked about them in a single post. and even if i did, i have more books to add to the list. please note that these are my own opinions and thoughts, and i don't mean to discourage any of you to pick these books up. in fact, i would highly recommend picking up any of these books so we can all discuss about it, different thoughts and all!

Thoughts:

• Slow
• Boring
• Ending was meh
• Didn't know what was happening half way through the book :/

Thoughts:

• Lots of unnecessary details
• Slow
• Confusing
• The plot wasn't very gripping (despite the promising synopsis)

Synopsis:

Starting over sucks.

When we moved to West Virginia right before my senior year, I’d pretty much resigned myself to thick accents, dodgy internet access, and a whole lot of boring… until I spotted my hot neighbor, with his looming height and eerie green eyes. Things were looking up.And then he opened his mouth.Daemon is infuriating. Arrogant. Stab-worthy. We do not get along. At all. But when a stranger attacks me and Daemon literally freezes time with a wave of his hand, well, something… unexpected happens.The hot alien living next door marks me.You heard me. Alien. Turns out Daemon and his sister have a galaxy of enemies wanting to steal their abilities, and Daemon’s touch has me lit up like the Vegas Strip. The only way I’m getting out of this alive is by sticking close to Daemon until my alien mojo fades.If I don’t kill him first, that is.

Thoughts:

• SO annoying
• SO many eye roll moments
• NOT a fan of Daemon ugh
• Or Katy :/
• It's.. boring??

Thoughts:

• Meh
• The hype ruined this book for me so badly
• Tris is a bit too overpowered in my opinion
• Uninteresting

Thoughts:

• B O R I N G
• Draggy. So very draggy.
• Celaena = God pretty much
• The hype for this was too much for me. Just no.

again, please note that these are all MY thoughts only and if I offend any of you, i'm really sorry. but i am in no way subjected to liking these books in any way. also, i am NOT trying to look down on these authors. i highly appreciate them and their what they've produced and i do in fact enjoy some of their other works.
