I saw this over on Thrice Read's blog and thought it'd be fun to give it a shot! I love Disney movies (even though I've never actually seen Inside Out xD but I heard amazing things about it!), and what could be better than combining Disney and books together?? :D

Stars Above by: Marissa Meyer
This was the perfect ending to one of my favorite series ever. Everything ties up so well! You can't help but root for everyone at the end because of how the characters have gone through. I read this in one night. It pretty much sums up the Lunar Chronicles beautifully. <3 <3
Name a book that makes you sad
Forbidden by: Tabitha Suzuma
Even the cover is heart-wrenching.. :'( Gosh, I'll never get over this book.. </3
Name a book that makes you angry
The Way I Used to Be by: Amber Smith
Putting aside the fact that rape itself exists and that people are getting away with doing it makes me mad, the drama and angst in this book was a bit too much for me. It irked me so bad that I had to put it down a couple of times. The character was just drowning in so much the negativity and self-hatred that ironically, it felt almost emotionless. I highly, highly respect the author for being able to pinpoint such an important subject matter, but by positioning the reader to sympathise the main character over and over again was just.. frustrating.

When You're Back by: Abbi Glines
The shit Reese had to go through were horrible and disgusting (along the lines of an abusive stepfather). I can't believe things like that actually happen in real life :eyeroll:
Name a book that brings you fear
You by: Caroline Kepnes
Don't get me wrong, I don't have any negative feelings towards this book, I actually really enjoyed it! Some parts were just a wee bit intense (and cray-cray). It's pretty graphic and explicit and though I've come across several books witht the same criteria, none gives me the jitters like this book here.
