Review:

Holy playboy. This book was insanely good. I was recommended this book by a lovely friend over on Bookstagram and I cannot thank her enough! Much hugs to you Clara :*

You know how cliche and overly dramatic a New Adult book can get? Especially when the characters are highly irrational and, oh, I don't know, just plain stupid? THIS BOOK has none of that jazz. The plot may not be very enticing, but the way the story was told was fresh. The chemistry wasn't 'love at first sight' either, there was actually a build up on the romance. Gasp! it's like finding a wild shiny Pokemon! Yes, and the love element actually develops throughout the novel and blossoms into something real and compassionate. *sigh* you'll fall deep for these characters, I promise.

The characters are probably the highlight of this book. They were lighthearted and hilarious! I can't help but giggle at their horrible puns. All of them are just so lovable. Garret is not your average overly possessive bastard of a 'bad boy'. He's sweet, witty, and a hunk of a hockey star. Hannah is sarcastic, bold and sassy. I love the heated arguments between these two. The sex appeal behind their debates sizzles like wildfire  Same goes for the minor ones - Garret's hockey team and Hannah's roommate, Allie. They weren't the least bit annoying. If anything, they enhanced the story and made it even more engaging.

So, in conclusion?

  • Close to nil drama
  • A sexy and steamy read
  • Characters who throws around dirty jokes like hot lumps of coal
  • Will keep you up until 3:30 in the morning
  • Completely and inevitably raw
  • Unforgettable

Is that convincing enough? READ.THIS.BOOK.
